Concealed Carry Class

Classes are $120.00 per person.

The course that is taught is the NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course. This course is 9 hours long and consists of:

• 2 hours of Pistol Knowledge and Safe Gun Handling
• 2 hours of Ammunition Knowledge and the fundamentals of Pistol Shooting
• 2 hours Firing the First Shots. Consists of class and range time.
• 1-hour Scoring Targets and Selecting and Maintaining a Pistol
• 1-hour Continued Opportunities for Skill Development
• 1 hour Child Access Prevention and Instruction on the Use of Deadly Force and Conflict Resolution

This course fulfills the training requirements necessary to apply for a concealed weapons permit in the state of Louisiana. The class is currently held in the Morgan City, Louisiana area, with travel to a local range. The course requires 36 rounds to be fired, but we recommend you bring at least 50. You must bring safety glasses and ear protection. A holster is required. If you already own a gun you should bring it to the class, but absolutely no ammunition in the classroom!!! We reserve the right to reschedule for a later date if attendance is too low. Private and onsite classes are available.
